Last night we catered a family style networking wine dinner at a fabulous new wine bar in SOMA called Tank 18. The space has tall ceilings, chalkboard walls and palm trees. It was perfect space for a gathering and when you have Left Coast Catering there you not only get amazing food but you get a PARTY!
Here is what we were cooking;
Passed appetizers
Wild mushroom, melted
brie, truffle oil, chive, asiago crostini
Scallop ceviche,
mango, avocado, yuzu dressing
Achiote chicken
tostada, pickled cabbage, tomatillo, crema
Family style dinner
Baby gem salad,
avocado, heirloom tomato, cucumber, crouton, buttermilk herb
dressing
Grilled hanger steak,
chimichurri sauce, grilled red onions
Grilled spice rubbed
salmon, roasted cherry tomato relish, arugula pesto
Roasted Yukon potato
salad, haricot vert, shaved fennel
Grilled corn salad,
zucchini, roasted peppers, scallions
Skillet corn bread
and butter
Served dessert
Individual peach
raspberry crisp with whipped crème fraiche - YUM!
