Birthday Dinner is a Soaring Success


  

 Last Friday the Left Coast team took over the Hiller Aviation Museum to celebrate a 70th birthday. Not only were appetizers passed among vintage planes, but our chefs also grilled alongside a full size airbus!

 
 
Passed appetizers
Gypsy pepper caper relish, smashed white bean, roasted garlic, bruschetta
Seared risotto cake, spinach, gorgonzola
Rock shrimp, white corn cake, espelette aioli
Mini duck and cherry meatball, quince mustard

Stationary appetizers
Local artisan cheeses, fruit, toasted nuts, flatbread, crostini
  
Buffet dinner
Wild arugula salad, figs, fennel, pecorino, hazelnuts, sherry vinaigrette

Panzenella – bread salad, heirloom tomatoes, Persian cucumbers, red onion, basil, red wine vinaigrette

Cranberry bean salad, marinated mushrooms, green and yellow wax beans, tarragon

Zucchini, summer squash, dill, goat cheese, savory galette

Grilled pork loin, roasted potato, apple mustard relish

Chicken Mattone  - grilled butterflied chicken marinated with lemon, rosemary, garlic, chili

Sweets in museum
Lemon meringue tartlets / Salted chocolate caramel tartlets/ French macaroons/ Butterscotch pot du crème  
Mr. Espresso organic coffee and Mighty Leaf teas 
Mini Duck and Cherry Meatball with Quince Mustard
